This creature has only ever been seen by a few individuals. Based on witness reports, it seems to lurk in dark swamp waters, where it rises from the water and appears to resemble something like a human figure draped in dark lace. Whether the lace is a part of its body, or truly apparel, remains unknown. It is also unknown whether the creature has a human mouth, although it has been reported that the creature can imitate human speech in some fashion. It is recommended to never, ever approach this creature when it is seen. If you make eye contact, it is imperative you refrain from looking directly at the toothed, funnel-like mouth on its chest, as that is when it will strike. Instead, maintain eye contact as you back away until you can leave the swamp. The origins of this creature have never been elucidated.
